Bombshell Bronzing offers in-studio & mobile appointments for your convenience. Whether you are looking for a deeper summer tan, a natural glowing winter tan, or something special for an event, we’ll create a perfect you.

Spray Tanning is the most effective way to get a sun-kissed, bronzed look without the harmful effects of UV rays.

We use only Sjolie Tanning Solutions which will leave you with a flawless, natural, and healthy glow. The unique blends are enriched with Aloe Vera and Vitamins A, C, and E. Made from natural derived ingredients and are certified vegan by PETA, Paraben, Erythrulose, and Gluten free. This solution will provide a customized color perfect for your skin tone with no orange, sticky or smelly residue. Results can typically last 5-10 days.

Voucher is good for basic tanning solution at my home studio. Rapid Tanning Solution and Mobile services will be an additional charge.

Pre Bronze Care

1. Exfoliate your body.

This is perhaps one of the most important first steps when it comes to preparing your skin for a spray tan. Dry, rough patches of skin tend to attract and hold more color than skin which is smooth and soft. Failing to exfoliate before spray tanning can result, therefore, in blotchy patches of dye on your elbows, knees, and other rough areas.

Use a loofah or other type of exfoliating tool to scrub your entire body. A body scrub with sea salt or other exfoliating products also provides the optimum results.

2. Shave unwanted hair.

While excessive body hair will not impair the ability of the spray tan to stick to your skin, shaving soon after receiving a spray tan can be detrimental. In fact, shaving soon after this procedure often results in the color flaking off from your skin. As spray tans can be quite expensive, most individuals who receive them want to ensure their longevity.

Avoid lotions, creams, deodorant, or other personal hygiene items that could interfere with the spray tan adhering to the skin.

Many women and men enjoy applying lotion or moisturizer to their face and body to ensure soft, supple skin. To ensure the best results during a spray tan, refrain from using skin lotions and moisturizers until after having the spray tan done as these lotions often block the spray tan from sticking to your skin. The same applies to products like antiperspirant, deodorant, make-up, perfume, or powder as they too can block the adherence of the spray tan to your skin, resulting in blotchy coloration.

3. Bring the proper clothes.

The spray tanning solution is likely to remain damp for a while after you exit the tanning booth. While some individuals would prefer to remain in the nude until the solution dries completely, this is not an option for all. To prevent the solution from rubbing off onto your clothing, bring a selection of T-shirts and pants which are as loose as possible. In addition, as some brands of spray tan can stain clothing, consider bringing clothing which is black or another dark color.

Exfoliating Body Wash - $23.50 is a non-abrasive exfoliator that prepares and polishes the skin for any type of tan. Our exfoliating body wash is designed to give skin a silky, moisturizing finish to extend the health and longevity of a tan. Suitable for all skin tones and types.

Tan Extend Lotion - $24.00 a hydrating daily moisturizer that gives added life and vibrancy to any tan. Suited for all skin types, this Tan Extend lotion contains a hint of tanning ingredients (DHA) that will help build and keep your just off the beach tan.

Bronzing Mousse - $35.00 is a self-tanning foam formulated with naturally derived ingredients. The lightweight formula allows for easy application and flawless bronzing results. Great for all skin types and skin tones.

IMMEDIATE AFTER CARE – 1st 8 HOURS

How you take care of your skin in the first 4-8 hours after spray tanning will be the difference between an orange patchy skin and an amazing golden tan.

Stay away from water. Do not engage in the washing of feet or hands immediately after the session. Stay away from activities that make you sweat. Say no to the gym, swimming or running.

In case of rainy weather, even if it is a light drizzle, carry an umbrella. Even a few drops of water can cause spots of discoloration on your skin.

Use only baggy and loose clothes. Do not use your tight undergarments, especially a bra, at least for 4 hours after the session. It will cause you blotches, streaks or bra lines.

You only put your clothes back on once you feel that the liquid is absorbed enough into your skin. And use dark clothes and undergarments, which are less likely to show any staining.

Do not use deodorants and perfumes immediately. The presence of alcohol and aluminum in these products will react with your spray tan resulting in uneven spots and blotches.

Wear flip flops, not shoes or long boots. Shoes and boots can hamper the chemicals sprayed and will restrict the development of tan on your feet.

Don’t sweat (or at least try not to!): Don’t indulge in any activities that will make you sweat, as sweat will destroy the sprays.

Do not undo your hair immediately as it will obstruct proper tanning in your shoulders and knees.

Ask for expert advice from the salon regarding the lotion, soaps or anything else to be used thereafter.

Let the pedicure and manicure wait till your color settles down. As these procedures include water and will soak your skin, this will lead to patchy removal of the color.

Do not apply moisturizers immediately after getting the spray tan.

SHOWER ROUTINE

·Do not shower within 8 hours of the session. Most of the product develops over time. Be patient enough and you’ll get that amazing look you longed for.

·The water should be lukewarm. The hot bath is always tempting and relaxing, but for the spray tan, it is a nightmare. Do not cleanse your skin thoroughly.

·Do not use loofahs or washcloths.

·Once you hit the shower, let it be brief and simple. Rinse gently for less than 3 minutes without using any products, including soaps and shower gels. Schedule your hair wash at least 2 days after the tan session.

·After 24 hours you can have a regular yet quick shower using pH balanced soap and products. Please stay away from Dove products as they tend to damage tans more than most other products.

·Do not exfoliate until you pass 24 hours after tanning. Hair removal is not at all advisable. If you absolutely must exfoliate, be extremely gentle. In case of emergency hair removal, don’t use a dull razor, instead grab a fresh blade.

·Once you have showered, you will notice the bronzer washing away, leaving you looking tanned and glowing underneath. Don’t panic, this is completely natural. Keep in mind that the tan will develop for the next 12 to 24 hours.

·Every single time you shower, ensure that you are simply pat drying yourself using a soft towel. DO NOT rub your skin and create unnecessary friction.

·And then comes the importance of a moisturizer. Once you take your shower and the product shows fading, you must hydrate your skin properly to keep the caramel hue intact.
